Since the dark ages British bowmen have held a fearful reputation, and up until the end of the 16th century archery was a compulsory skill that was practised after Church every Sunday. Some people think that firing an arrow into a butt is an easy thing, however those of us who still regularly practice this art know better. The lesson is for 1 hour using recurve bows.
For a test of martial skill, dexterity, and a quieter way of hitting a target, archery is an entertaining way to spend some time. It might not put you in a quiver but our instructors that we work with guarantee to keep you on target. Ranges for tuition are 20 and 30 metres. Various standards of ranges are available to suit the individual.
Cost - from £25 - £45 per person
